And here comes December – the month in which each one of us breathlessly awaits the Christmas holidays and vacation. According to the old tradition just before Christmas vacation Association “Re-Act” and CBS “Angel Uzunov” together prepare surprises for the boys in Rakitovo. This year we will make the traditional Christmas celebration in the boarding school a bit more “open” to the world, more shared and warmer, and at the same time we will organize an atypical Open Day. So anyone who has ever wanted to cross the threshold of the boarding school will have the opportunity to meet the guys on December 19th, to share the Christmas holiday and to learn more about them, touching for a day to their world.
To create a real Christmas atmosphere, this year the boys will take on the role of culinary virtuosos and will cook dinner with traditional dishes for Christmas Eve. Once they put into action their skills from the cooking course, we will set together a festive table, which all the guest will able to enjoy. We have taken care of the decoration and the dining room – a tree and garland will not be missing. We’ll do everything ourselves and with guaranteed quality. From Rakitovo! Part of the room will turn into Santa’s workshop, where we will prepare Christmas fortune slips and make the most beautiful Christmas cards in the history of the holiday. And when we fully transform the dining room we will deservedly dance and have some fun. At the end of the day we’ll have a movie theater, have a jolly time, dance, and swap gifts.
We have re-activated our entire arsenal of volunteers and the preparation is already underway with full power. To remind the children that good old man has not yet retired, we ask you to bring a gift for one of the boys worth up to 10 lev. Our youth are 13 to 19 years old and are now about 50 in number.
We expect you to our celebration on December 19th from 15:00 o’clock in CBS “Angel Uzunov” in Rakitovo.
