Today is the last day of the “I am YOU” youth exchange
In the period 18-27.10 in the village of Brodilovo, a youth exchange “I am YOU. Scenarios for a different life” was held, organized by the association “Re-Akt” for 31 young people from Bulgaria, Estonia, Macedonia, Italy, Spain and Serbia. Its goal was, through informal training methods, to familiarize the participants with the different forms of migration and the challenges that arise from contemporary migration processes before the EU and on a global scale.
During the exchange, the participants immersed themselves in the topic through a comprehensively structured program that included various simulations, adventures in nature, meetings with official representatives from the Tsarevo municipality and the Border Police Directorate and thematic film screenings. By creating an environment for active intercultural learning, the young people acquired information and tools with which to work for a more just and tolerant society and to transfer what they learned to the communities in which they live.
