What does it represent?
“Mission Mentor” is a project aimed at improving youth work through the implementation of effective, innovative mentoring practices. Its main goal is to build capacity and develop the competencies of youth workers to inspire and support young people in their personal and social growth, taking active civic participation through planning, organizing and implementing youth initiatives at the local level.
Methodological guide
Creation of a methodological guide for mentoring, including good practices and tools for civic engagement: international practices and successful applications for mentoring, adapted to the Bulgarian reality
Creation of digital methodology
Creation of digital methodology and resources, including educational video materials and an online platform.
Youth Worker Academy
Youth Worker Academy: three five-day advanced trainings on the methodology.
Individual mentoring
Individual mentoring of program participants in real time by an organizational development expert
Piloting
Piloting the mentoring program with local youth groups.
What does it represent?
“Mission Mentor” combines an innovative approach based on successful international practices and modern digital tools that allow for flexibility and accessibility, specially adapted to the Bulgarian reality. Through individual consultations from an expert, participants in Mission Mentor will receive additional support and guidance to improve their mentoring approach. The project offers long-term support and sustainability by building a network of trained mentors and promoting local initiatives with public importance.
Who is it suitable for?

Milestones and schedule:

January 2025: Preparation of the Academy through preliminary online meetings

February – April 2025: Launch of the Academy and piloting of the mentoring program.

March – April 2025: Introduction of the methodology in local youth centers.

April/ May 2025: Holding a national multiplier meeting “The Power of Mentoring”.
