Y-Motion: Dance and Movement in Youth Work
How can contemporary dance become a tool for learning, self-expression and intercultural exchange? The Y-Motion toolkit was developed through Youth in Motion, an Erasmus+ KA153 project exploring the connections between movement, non-formal education and youth work.
The project brought together 26 youth workers from six countries for an international training course held from 23 to 31 May in Vršac, Serbia. The course focused on non-formal education, contemporary dance, intercultural learning and the exchange of good practices in youth work.
Throughout the training, participants developed their competences, shared experiences and explored new approaches they could apply in their local communities. The Y-Motion toolkit is a result of this shared learning process and a resource for youth workers interested in incorporating dance and movement into their educational activities.
